KP agriculture minister assures public welfare, development

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Agriculture Major (R) Muhammad Sajjad Barakwal has said that as per the directions of the Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur, public resources will be spent only on the welfare of the people and solving their problems.
He expressed these views while addressing a public gathering held at Hujra Malik Muhit Khan in Union Council Shnawa Gudi khel District Karak. Elders of the area and party workers presented regional issues before the Minister on this occasion, said a handout.
Barakwal on this occasion said that strenuous efforts are being made to overcome the problem of clean drinking water in the area so that the door of politics on drinking water can be closed forever. He added, in order to meet the water requirement for drinking and irrigation in the area, construction of Baroch Dam and Uplift Canal are underway.
Barakwal further said that Party Head Imran Khan’s vision of justice will be implemented by eliminating the traditions of political affiliation and personal likes and dislikes in all sectors. Similarly, solarization of PHED drinking water schemes and installation of agricultural tube wells will also be done in the area.
Chairman Malik Muhit Khan, Zahid Bahramkhel, Younus Malang, Arif Nawaz Khattak, Malik Nawab Ali Khan, Shamim Khan and other party workers were also present on the occasion.
Later, the Agriculture Minister, while addressing a public gathering at Malikabad Square (Shobanda), said that special attention is being paid to all regional issues including drinking water, irrigation, communication, education, health and other sectors.
Well-known social figure Nawab Khattak presented the regional, collective and individual issues of the area before the Minister on behalf of local elders, which were assured to resolve it on priority basis.
