PESHAWAR
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is set to hold its 75th provincial cabinet meeting, last meeting of the outgoing financial year, at the Civil Secretariat Peshawar on Tuesday (today) with a 16 point agenda.
With Chief Minister Mahmood Khan in the chairs, the provincial cabinet will approve establishment of wildlife check posts across the province and ‘Kabalgram as waterfowl’ public game reserve in district Shangla.
It will also take decision on transferring of land for TMA office building Domel, district Bannu and abolition of the internment centre in Fizagat area of Swat.
Draft KP Mining of Minor Minerals from river bed rules, draft KP Mineral appellate tribunal rules 2021, transfer of land for up gradation of a higher school in district Shangla will be taken up in the cabinet meeting.
The cabinet meeting will also approve “The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Teachers (Appointment and Regularization of Service) Act, 2021.
It will also discuss transfer of land from the industrial department for establishment of Government College of commerce and management at Takhtbhai and allotment of land for establishment of Rescue-1122 station at Ocha Wala, tehsil Shabqadar. The transfer of 450 kanal lands to Pak Austria institute of applied science and technology is also on the cabinet agendas list.
The cabinet is also set to discuss approval to amendments in the existing public service and addition of new service rules by the KP Right to Public Service Commission and approval of performance allowances in salaries of IMU health staff in KP.
Taking over of tube wells from Pakistan public works department and a one-time special grant in aid of Rs30 million for Peshawar Press Club (PPC) will be approved in the cabinet meeting.
