PESHAWAR
Caretaker Chief Minister Arshad Hussain Shah during his surprise visit to Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC) Swabi inspected various wards and inquired from the people about the treatment facilities being provided there.
According to a statement, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM carried out detailed inspections of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and emergency departments of the hospitals and expressed his satisfaction over the hospital management and performance.
Hospital Director Dr Amjad Mahboob briefed the Chief Minister on new departments, laboratories, and other developmental initiatives for the convenience of the public.
Additionally, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gajju Khan Medical College, Prof Dr Shams-Ur-Rehman, informed the CM about the new Purpose-Built building of the GKMC-MTI and highlighted the success of the first two batches with a 100 percent pass result in KMU annual exams. The Dean also provided information about college academic and research activities.
Deputy Commissioner Swabi, Gohar Ali Khan, and other key officials were present during the Chief Minister’s visit. The caretaker Chief minister acknowledged the cooperation of the hospital administration and emphasized the importance of collaboration in all aspects.
