PESHAWAR
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday issued the final list of candidates taking part in coming by-elections on National Assembly seats from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According a list issued by the Provincial Election Commissioner Muhammad Farid, by- elections would be held on five National Assembly seats from KP.
The commission has also allotted party symbols to the candidates contesting for the by-elections on different constituencies of the province.
The provincial election commissioner also issued the final list of those candidates taking part on reserved NA seats from the province.
According to ECP, as many as four candidates will run for NA-22 Mardan, NA-24 Charsadda constituency.
Eight candidates nomination has been approved by ECP after a scrutiny for NA-31 Peshawar while 16 candidates of different parties and independents are in run for NA-45 Kurram constituency in the upcoming by-elections.
The ECP has slated September 25, as the date for polling on these NA constituencies.
