PESHAWAR
The Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Shah Farman on Monday served a legal notice on a mega group for publishing a “false report” in an attempt to disrespect the province’s esteemed constitutional office.
The notice served to the owners of a major media house, group editors, news reporter and anchorperson commenting on YouTube.
The newspaper in its news story has alleged that the expenditures of the KP-Governor House and its staff had increased during the ongoing year.
However, the legal notice issued by the Governor House claimed that the facts published by the newspaper and broadcast by a Youtuber have mocked the constitutional position of the province.
The purpose of issuing legal notices is to look into the matter at the legal level, the notice said.
