PESHAWAR: KP government has decided to auction number plates in the name of president Asif Ali Zardari, former prime ministers Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan and key political and national leadership. A formal announcement in this regard has been made. KP minister for excise and taxation Fakhar Jahan while talking to a private TV channel has said this auction will be held in Nishtar Hall Peshawar on January 27. The auction of unique and fancy choice number plates will start from Rs 10 lac. The highest bidder will be given the number plate in the name of his favorite national or political figure . Number plates in the name of more national leaders, renowned personalities, areas and nations will be included in the auction in phases. According to provincial minister owners of vehicles are taking full fledged interest in the auction process. The last date for filing applications is January 26, 2026. ONLINE
