PESHAWAR
Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif on Thursday claimed the provincial government was taking all possible steps to create new opportunities for youth development.
He said that terrorism had left the young generation hopeless and disappointed but the incumbent provincial government restored peace and launched various initiatives to highlight skills of talented youth.
Special Assistant for Information and Public Relations Muhammad Ali Saif expressed these views while addressing a function organized for the students and youth of North Waziristan in connection with International Youth Day.
Members of Provincial Assembly, District Administration of North Waziristan, Mayor Tehsil Razmak and other senior officials also participated in the ceremony held at a local hotel in Peshawar.
Speaking on the occasion, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said that the transmission of ideas and values between generations was necessary so that the evolutionary stages can move forward in a better way.
He said that nations and societies with high and positive thinking develop, therefore the youth should keep their thinking unlimited and not limit it to a specific circle and angle.
Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif said that the youth should not be victims of materialism because materialistic people or societies cannot develop.
“Living nations are not afraid of suffering, nor should the youth be afraid of the problems and sufferings they face in life, but they should face them with determination,” he added.
Barrister Saif said that discrimination and division in society led to failure, adding that religion of Islam has come to free man from the slavery.
He urged the youth to dedicate themselves for the welfare of humanity and work hard for the development of society.
The Special Assistant said that the young generation was the future of this country and society.
“The KP government is paying special attention to the development of the youth, especially the youth of the merged districts are being brought forward in the race for development,” he added.
Digital skills development program and IT sector initiatives of the provincial government was creating new development opportunities for youth, he added.
Mr Saif added the K P government was committed to eliminate the frustration created among the youth due to terrorism.
