KP govt orders a major reshuffle in bureaucracy

Zakir Afridi posted as SMBR, Motasim as secretary elementary & secondary education KP

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government on Friday ordered a major reshuffle in the provincial bureaucracy with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the establishment department, Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Syed Zafar Ali Shah has been transferred and directed to the establishment department, while secretary labour Zakir Hussain Afridi posted as SMBR-KP.
Member Board of Revenue Rokhullah Khan has been transferred and posted as secretary labor department.
The provincial government also transferred secretary Housing department Syed Ali Shah and directed him to report to the establishment department.
He was replaced by Dr Amber Ali who was waiting for posting in the establishment department.
According to the notification, special secretary local government Motasim Billah Shah has been transferred and posted as secretary Elementary & Secondary Education department KP, while his predecessor, Yahya Akhunzada has been asked to report to the establishment department KP.
Moreover, Ghazanfar Ali has been posted as Director General (DG) Commerce and Management Science KP, while Fazal-e-Khaliq has been posted as Member Board of Revenue and Aisha Ehsan posted DG Population Welfare KP.
