PESHAWAR
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter on Tuesday announced to mark the Karsaz tragedy, October 18, as an event to demonstrate its power across the province.
All divisions level party organizations, allied wings and ticket-holders have been directed to start preparations for a successful campaign for the event across the province.
The decision was taken in the consultative meeting of the provincial cabinet which was attended by the party’s senior leadership including Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha, Shuja Salim Khan, Amjad Khan Afridi, Sajid Turi, Gohar Inqilabi.
Senator Rubina Khalid, Ayub Shah, Ziaullah Afridi, Malik Saeed Khan, Saleem Khan also attended the meeting, said a statement. Division, district officials, former ticket holders, senior leaders participated in the meeting.
According to the statement, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address the party workers, supporters and leaders through video link which will be broadcasted live across the province.
It is stated that finalize arrangements for live telecast of Chairman’s address in all district headquarters.
All ticket holders, allied wings, local organizations and activists have been directed to ensure their presence at the public meetings on October 18.
