KP records highest-ever sales tax collection, says Muzammil Aslam

Adviser to the Chief Minister on Finance Muzammil Aslam on Tuesday announced that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had recorded its highest-ever collection of Sales Tax on Services during April 2026.
In a statement, Muzammil Aslam said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority collected Rs4.45 billion in April, reflecting a significant increase of 25 percent compared to the same period last year.
He said that Rs3.56 billion was collected in April 2025, highlighting a substantial rise in revenue collection this year.
The finance adviser congratulated Director General KPRA Iram Naz and her team for achieving record revenue figures.
He expressed hope that the KPRA would continue to contribute to the province’s financial development with the same level of dedication and professionalism in the future.
