KP, Sindh agree to strengthen cooperation in technical education

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh have agreed to enhance inter-provincial collaboration and share best practices to strengthen technical and vocational education and develop a skilled workforce capable of meeting future market demands. The understanding was reached during a visit by Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh for Technical Education Junaid Buland to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (KP-TEVTA) headquarters in Hayatabad, where he met Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Technical Education Muhammad Usman Khan Bettani, said a handout. The statement said the Sindh delegation was received by KP-TEVTA Managing Director Mian Abdul Qadir Shah, while Sindh TEVTA Managing Director Ghulam Murtaza Sheikh was also present. During the meeting, KP-TEVTA officials briefed the delegation on the authority’s organizational structure, training programmes, achievements and future plans. DLP Report
