Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education, Arshad Ayub Khan, has said that the Elementary and Secondary Education Foundation was taking effective measures to expand access to primary education across the province and was playing a key role in delivering quality learning through digital platforms.
He added that the present government is introducing an Education Card, through which children will be able to meet their educational expenses.
He expressed these views on Wednesday in Peshawar during a detailed briefing on the performance and initiatives of the Elementary and Secondary Education Foundation. Secretary Elementary and Secondary Education Muhammad Khalid Khan, Managing Director ESEF Qaiser Alam Khan, and other relevant officers were also in attendance.
The Provincial Minister was briefed by the Managing Director on various initiatives of the Foundation.
He was informed that ESEF has developed a dedicated portal for out-of-school children, enabling the identification of children who are currently deprived of education and helping to facilitate their enrollment in suitable institutions.
