PESHAWAR: Pakistani women’s football team captain Maria Jameela Khan was honoured with an achievement award by the Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa here on Sunday. Women are not behind anyone in every field, in order to appreciate the performance and achievements of women, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Youth Directorate and Bank of Khyber jointly honored Maria Jameela Khan with awards. Maria Jamila Khan, the captain of the Pakistani women’s football team, was awarded for her excellent performance recently for the Pakistan football team. Maria was adjudged the best player of the tournament held in Saudi Arabia. Maria Jamila Khan is living in America. Looking after her stunning performance in the field of football, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Youth Affairs and Bank of Khyber she was awarded.
