KPHA employees union felicitates Dr Amjid on becoming CM aide on housing

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Housing Authority Employees Union on Monday felicitated Dr Amjad Ali on becoming the Advisor to Chief Minister for Housing, hoping that he would further improve the department’s developmental initiatives and welfare initiatives for the union in the province. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Housing Authority President Haji Abdul Haseeb, General Secretary Ashfaq Ahmed, and former Union President Irfan Bashir have lauded the services of Dr Amjid Ali in the last tenure as minister for housing. The office bearers said that Dr Amjad Ali had completed record developmental works as minister in previous period, including setting up One Window operation, which enabled transparent lottery of plots and flats and provided adequate speedy informing to the general public about the schemes announced by the provincial government. They added that enactment of KPHA Rules and Regulations was a major issue since 2005 which the minister solved in his tenure. The Union President, General Secretary and others have also requested Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to give the portfolio of Housing Ministry to Cabinet Member Dr Amjad Ali so that the remaining issues of KPH should be resolved immediately.
