KP’s caretaker cabinet takes oath

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s new nine-member caretaker cabinet took oath on Monday.
According to a statement, KP Governor Haji Ghulam Ali administered the oath to news ministers at a ceremony held at the Governor House Peshawar.
The ceremony was also attended by caretaker Chief Minister Justice (R) Syed Arshad Hussain Shah.
The ministers who were sworn in were Syed Masood Shah, Justice (R) Irshad Qaiser, Ahmad Rasool Bangash, Asif Rafiq, Dr Najibullah, Dr Muhammad Qasim Jan, Engineer Amir Nadeem Durrani, Engineer Ahmed Jan and Syed Amir Abdullah.
Governor Haji Ghulam Ali congratulated the interim cabinet members and expressed good wishes for them.
Chief Secretary (CS) KP Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Akhtar Hayat Khan Gandapur, high-ups of the government departments and others attended the oath taking ceremony.
