GUJRANWALA: A labourer was injured after he was subjected to brutal torture by influential of the area over alleged property dispute here on Thursday. Police said that the suspects belonging to an influential family barged into house of a labourer with whom they were having dispute over ownership of a piece of land in Ladhewala Waraich area of Gujranwala. The suspects subjected to torture the labourer injuring him seriously and escaped after committing the crime. The injured labourer was shifted to hospital for treatment. A protest was staged against the incident and the protesters demand for strict action against the culprits. ONLINE
