Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Housing Dr. Amjad Ali visited the multi-storey residential and commercial project, Work One, in Peshawar, managed by the Provincial Housing Authority.
The Director General PHA and officers concerned were also present. The Special Assistant on Housing was informed in the briefing that the project is being constructed at a cost of Rs 2 billion, which consists of a total of 13 floors, out of which 10 floors will be used for residential purposes while 3 floors will be used for commercial activities.
The residential floors consist of a total of 160 flats of different sizes.The briefing further informed that out of the total flats of the Warsak One project, 49 percent are reserved for government employees while 51 percent are reserved for common citizens. Speaking to the media on this occasion, Special Assistant Dr. Amjad Ali said that the Housing Department is taking steps to eliminate the residential issues. He said that public takes interest in land sharing which is very transparent and easier.
Dr. Amjad Ali said that 45 percent of the work on the well equipped with all modern facilities housing scheme has been completed, while this will be completed by October 2026.
