PESHAWAR: At least three people were killed after a landslide struck a mountainous area on the outskirts of Gumbat tehsil in Kohat. According to Rescue 1122 on Wednesday, their teams rushed to the site immediately after receiving information about the incident. Heavy machinery was used to remove debris and carry out rescue operations. Rescue 1122 spokesperson Bilal Ahmed Faizi confirmed that the bodies of three victims have so far been recovered from under the rubble. He added that the rescue operation is still underway. Authorities fear that more people may be trapped, while efforts continue to clear the debris and search for survivors. APP
