PATTOKI: A lawyer was gunned down by some unknown armed persons on Tuesday morning on his way to Tehsil court Pattoki from home on Multan road. The alleged killers fled the scene. Police rushed to the scene and shifted the body to Tehsil Headquarters hospital. The lawyers have gone on strike on the call of president of Bar Association Pattoki and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits. Muhammad Iqbal Jutt advocate on his way to Tehsil court Pattoki from his residence when some armed persons riding on motorcycle opened indiscriminate firing on him from behind leaving the lawyer critically injured. He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to injuries. The police have started collecting evidence. Online
