Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has issued a stern warning to leaders of the party, criticizing their lack of enthusiasm in organizing power shows and public meetings.
Gandapur, who is provincial president of PTI, has instructed party leaders to mobilize workers for the upcoming Rawalpindi protest, stressing that every rally counts.
According to sources, Gandapur expressed concerns that the lukewarm response could harm the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s struggle for the release of party incarcerated founder Imran Khan.
The Chief Minister has said that he was closely monitoring the party leaders’ performance and will submit a fact-based report to Imran Khan in the next couple of days.
During a meeting of the PTI KP parliamentary party, Gandapur reiterated the importance of every meeting and rally for the party’s success.
Leaders were tasked with arranging 35-45 vehicles from each district for the Rawalpindi rally and warned that lack of dedication to party activities will not be tolerated and may impact future political prospects.
“PTI will not compromise on party discipline,” Ali Amin Gandapur warned.
