Lost wallet returned to owner on swat expressway

Islamabad: During routine patrolling near Chakdara on the Swat Expressway, officers of the National Highways and Motorway Police found a lost wallet containing more than Rs. 19,000 in cash, along with an identity card, ATM cards, and other important documents. Demonstrating responsibility and professional commitment, Motorway Police officers took immediate action and contacted the owner through the mobile number mentioned on the driving license found in the wallet. Upon receiving the information, the concerned citizen arrived at the Motorway Police office, where after necessary verification; the wallet along with the cash was safely handed over to him. DIG Rana chairs Safe City, SPU meeting
ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Security Islamabad Rana Umar Farooq chaired a high-level meeting with the Safe City technical team and officers of the Special Protection Unit (SPU) to review security arrangements for Chinese nationals residing in the federal capital. An official told media on Monday that the meeting was briefed on the security measures being implemented through modern technology to ensure the safety and protection of Chinese nationals in Islamabad. The Safe City technical team presented an overview of the surveillance and monitoring mechanisms being used to strengthen security, while SPU officers shared updates on operational preparedness and protection arrangements.
