JHELUM: School Principal Hafifa Kiyani fled after the court on Monday rejected her interim bail in students’ death incident that occurred in her school Jhelum. Additional District and Sessions Judge Jhelum Shehbaz Hussain announced the verdict about bail rejection after hearing arguments from the lawyers of both sides. Two students were killed and 20 other people — 16 students and four teachers — were injured when the wall of a private school collapsed during a Milad event inside the school along the GT Road in Jhelum on October 22 last.
