National Assembly’s opposition leader and PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday paid homage to former president and his party’s late leader Mamnoon Hussain who died earlier.
Shahbaz visited former president’s house in Karachi and condoled his family upon his demise.
Shahbaz Sharif said that Mamnoon Hussain stood by party’s side in hard-fought times and he was an embodiment of honesty and loyalty.
Hailing late president’s services to the country, Shahbaz said that Mamnoon always worked to raise democratic norms and constitutional values.
He said that as a president Mamnoon Hussain always contained himself to his constitutional role and he was a great asset to the party.
