ATTOCK: A married man has axed his mother to death over a minor family dispute in the jurisdiction of Injra police station. Police on the complaint of his father have registered an FIR and are trying to arrest the culprit. Aetbar Khan r/o Dhok Bandal Khel told police that his son Hasan Bilal who was serving in a sensitive organisation and was on leave now a days. Last night his son Hasan Bilal started quarrelling with his wife Mahjabeen over a dispute and began to torture her also. Aetbar Khan further told police that his wife Umar Jan (mother of Hasan Bilal) tried to settle the issue and also forbade Hasan Bilal to torture Mahjabeen. Hasan Bilal who was already holding an axe in his hands , hit his mother with the axe which resulted in serious head injuries and escaped from the crime scene . Aetbar Khan said that Umer Jan was first shifted to RHC Chhab from where she was refered to THQ Jand because of her serious condition but she succumbed to her injuries before reaching the hospital.
