OKARA: In a shocking incident in Okara city, a man shot dead his four in-laws including his wife demanding pocket money through a local court on Saturday. The accused identified as Rafique was annoyed with his in-laws for filing a suit in court for fixing pocket money. The accused, a resident of Latifabad, Okara after returning home to the court opened fire on the in-laws and run away on Saturday.
The wife of the accused Farzana and her brother Kashif Majeed and two other relatives Ashiq and Salman Ashiq died on the spot. As per the report, Ashiq and Salman were identified as father and son. Police station A Division Okara and the forensic teams have started investigations. While Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has taken a notice of the incident and asked for a report from the Inspector General of Police with the immediate arrest of the accused.
