Kashmore police on Friday claimed to have recovered an abductee after an encounter with kidnappers here on late night.
According to press release issued by police headquarters Kandhkot, it is stated that during search operation in katcha area, police party led by DSP kandhkot city Yaar Mohammad Rind and DSP Durani mahar cordoned the entire area of Durani mahar, to seeing a large number of police vehicles, the criminals started firing at police on retaliation police also fire at them resultantly they left an abductee.
When this scribe contacted to Senior Superintendent of police kashmore Zubair Nazeer Ahmed sheikh he told to this correspondent that a watchman at under construction DHQ hospital kandhkot Gul Mohammad brohi hailing from jacobabad was abducted from the limits of police b section near caltex petrol pump one week ago, police during attack at a hideout they rescued him safely.
On query he replied that the kidnappers were managed to escape from the scene due to darkness. Meanwhile kandhkot city police claimed to have caught a drug peddler along with hashish near government bhittai high school.
According to details, Station House officer city Gul Mohammad Mahar and his team during patrolling held a drug peddler namely Hidayat Ali son of Ghulam Ali Dahani and recovered 1300 grams of hashish from his possession. However case has been registered against him on narcotics act.
It is pertinent to add here that law and order of district kashmore has been improved manifold due to police proactive policies especially snap checking and patrolling throughout district.
