OKARA: A man was shot dead by unknown assailants in Okara’s Chak 25/2-L on Sunday. The man, identified as Asif, died on the spot, according to rescue officials. “We will make sure that those involved in the crime are arrested as soon as possible,” Okara’s district police officer told reporters. He visited Asif’s house and met his family. Further investigations are under way. INP
