Martyred cop laid to rest with state honour

LAKKI MARWAT: A policeman martyred late Tuesday was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Malugul on Wednesday with state honour. The police spokesperson Shahid Hameed told that the martyred cop, Muhammad Mustafa, posted at the Dadiwala Police Station was heading to his home in Yaseen Manjiwala at night when unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on him near the Kurram Bridge Toll Plaza on Indus Highway. His funeral prayer was offered in the Police Lines with and was buried with state honour at his ancestral graveyard in Malugul. The funeral prayers were attended by a large number of social personalities and dignitaries including District Police Officer Lakki Marwat Imran Khan, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Haseeb, Pakistan Army officers, social personalities, police officers, relatives of the martyr, and police personnel.
