NAB office attack case
LAHORE: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore while accepting police report for dismissing NAB office attack case against Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz, Advisor to Prime Minister (PM) Rana Sana Ullah and others has acquitted all of them. The court while announcing reserved judgment on the report filed by police maintained evidence of allegations against the accused have not been found. According to police report the allegations of pelting stones on the occasion of appearance of Maryam Nawaz in NAB office were not proved. The plaintiff of the case Additional Director NAB Chaudhry Asghar appeared in the court. On being inquired from the court the plaintiff said he has no objection over dismissal report. During the hearing of the case SP Moazzam Ali, DSP Zulfiqar Ali Butt and DSP Muhammad Khan appeared as witnesses in the court. The witnesses said in their statements no solid evidence are available for trial of the accused. According to police case was registered in police station Chuhang in 2020 on the report of Deputy Director NAB nominating CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz, Rana Sana Ullah, Capt (Retd) Safdar, Bilal Yasin and other PML-N leaders. According to case the workers had pelted stones on Police on the occasion of appearance of Mayam Nawaz before NAB in Raiwind Land case. The court while reviewing all the evidence accepted police report for dismissal of case. The court wrapped up the case. ONLINE
