Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman Thursday announced a countrywide protest against the target killings of the people in North Waziristan on Sunday.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman held a press conference in Bannu on Thursday and demanded the state stop killings and take action against the killers.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman also urged the Ulema Akram to protest in the Friday sermon against such kinds of target killings in North Waziristan. He stated that their religious institutes of them were under the control of the state.
Commenting on the role of former Prime Minister, Fazlur Rehman said Imran Khan wanted to divide the country into three parts. He said President Arif Alvi and Imran Khan as the previous premier have broken the constitution and should be punished.
Fazlur Rehman warned Imran Khan that they will warm the atmosphere so hot for him and his followers that they will not be able to stand anywhere. The JUI chief said NAB should be terminated based on what it has done, adding that the job of the court is to implement the law, not to tell whether it should be done.
