Mayor Shahid Ali sought records from WSSC Swat officials over water crisis in Mingora city.

SWAT:- In view of the water crisis in Mingora city, Mayor Shahid Ali
sought records from WSSC Swat officials and directed them to take
war-based measures to overcome the water crisis and ensure
uninterrupted supply of water to the people. Mayor Shahid Ali apprised the meeting of the public concern regarding the difficulties due to unavailability of water in Mingora city. Mayor city sought all the
details from Wssc and also checked the record. According to detail, A
meeting was held in TMA hall Mingora under the chairmanship of City
Mayor Shahid Ali Khan regarding non-supply of water and water crisis
in the city. The meeting was attended by Chief Executive officer WSSC
Swat Shaida Muhammad and other concern officials participated. On this occasion, Mayor Shahid Ali Khan informed the concerned authorities
that 70 percent of the population of Mingora city in different localities of Mingora city are deprived of water. He also sought the details and records of the measures taken and also checked the records
submitted by the WASA and directed that steps be taken on war footing
to resolve the water issue facing the people on priority basis. Addressing on the occasion Shahid Ali said that the city government will take all possible steps for public interest and full support will be given to them to overcome the water crisis in the city and use all resources in this regard. The people have chosen us to solve their
problems,I will not act carelessly, he added.
