Islamabad: Midas Communications Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited (MCP) has clarified that it is an independent communications agency with no association, affiliation, or relationship with any other company or business operating under a similar or identical name. In a statement on Thursday, Chief Executive Officer Nadeem Akbar said Midas Communications Pakistan, incorporated in 2000 and headquartered in Islamabad, has no connection with the directors, shareholders, management, employees, representatives, or agents of any such entity. He added that any business activities or legal proceedings involving such entities—including matters before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) or any court, tribunal, regulatory authority, or government agency—are solely their responsibility and have no connection with Midas Communications Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited. He said MCP reserves all rights to take appropriate legal action in the event of misrepresentation, impersonation, or unlawful use of the company’s name, identity or credentials. Akbar advised clients, business partners, and the public to verify the identity of the company before entering into any business dealings or relying on representations made in the name of “Midas Communications Pakistan.” Staff Reporter
