Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Women’s empowerment, Justice Retired Irshad Qaiser, while addressing the closing ceremony of the first Women’s National Lacrosse Championship, congratulated the management committee and said that it was a very wonderful and memorable event in which players and officials from all over Pakistan participated. I especially want to encourage all the players who performed well in this event.
She praised the officials and said that they played an important role in organizing the event successfully with the hard work and dedication of the officials, this event has been made a memorable one.
Caretaker Provincial Minister, Justice retired Irshad Qaiser, while praising the Pakistan Lacrosse Federation, said that the federation worked very hard in organizing this event. The Federation organized an event that will play a major role in promoting the sport of lacrosse in Pakistan.
Caretaker Provincial Minister also appreciated the Executive Director of Asia Pacific Lacrosse Union, Mr. Chris Massoni, who participated in the event and offered his services to promote the game of lacrosse in Pakistan. She hoped that this event would open a new way for the promotion of lacrosse in Pakistan. May the game of lacrosse in Pakistan grow, flourish and the players of Pakistan achieve success at the national and international levels.
At the end of the ceremony, Caretaker provincial minister for social welfare and women’s Empowerment Justice retired Irshad Qaiser distributed prizes among the winning team and players.
