ISLAMABAD
The Ministry of Energy has categorically rejected the claim by some news channels that the country is facing an electricity shortfall of 5,600 megawatts.
In a tweet on Wednesday, the ministry said the reports about 20,000 MW production capacity is also incorrect. It said that maximum electricity generation of 22,600 MW was recorded on Tuesday at 1500 hours and by 2100 hours load management was zero.
