MIRPUR(INP) Two death row prisoners Yaqoob and Ghazanfar were executed in Central Jail of Mirpur, Azad Kashmir on Saturday morning. Both the convicts were allowed to meet their families before their execution.
The convict Yaqoob murdered prayer leader in the name of honour in 2011, whereas convict Ghazanfar had killed to his uncle in 2005 over domestic brawl. Both the convicts belonged to Kotli.
According to Jail administration, dead bodies were handed over to their heirs after completion of proceeding.
