Mobile lab completes 10,100 tests in Buner flood relief efforts

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Secretary Shahidullah Khan announced the successful completion of 10,100 health tests through the mobile laboratory deployed in flood-affected Buner. The mobile lab, which operated for 62 days, provided critical diagnostic services in collaboration with local health centers, district hospitals, and mobile clinics. The tests covered a wide range of health concerns, including CBC, malaria, dengue, hepatitis, and common viral infections that typically arise after natural disasters. Shahidullah Khan emphasized that the mobile lab’s timely and effective deployment greatly enhanced the region’s ability to prevent and treat diseases, benefiting the affected population. He assured that the health department will continue such initiatives in the future to provide swift medical response during natural disasters. DLP Report
