Advisor to Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Barrister Dr. Saif, met with the PTI founder in Adiala Jail on Saturday. Following the meeting, he issued a statement saying that detailed discussions were held on the denotification and removal of the provincial minister from the cabinet.
Following the PTI founder’s instructions, a message was conveyed to workers, officials, and cabinet members via video.
The committee that investigated the corruption allegations against the minister was formed under the directives and approval of Imran Khan. All the members of the committee were personally selected by Imran Khan.
Shah Farman, Qazi Muhammad Anwar, and Musaddiq Abbasi were members of the committee, which compiled the report based on all statements and evidence. After the report was presented to the Chief Minister, the denotification process was carried out.
The PTI founder expressed his concern, stating that corruption would not be allowed to flourish under any circumstances. The PTI founder emphasized that there would be zero tolerance for corruption, and it was in this context that the committee was formed.
When complaints of corruption were received in a department, investigations were initiated. Imran Khan stated that if complaints of corruption are received against any official, strict action would be taken.
The same committee will also compile reports after investigations in the future, and decisions will be made based on those reports. He added that he is conveying Imran Khan’s message to party workers to submit any complaints or concerns to the committee. If anyone has solid evidence, they should present it to the committee, which will then compile a report after proceedings.
The PTI founder expressed displeasure over the attempts on social media to create the impression of factionalism and a disgruntled group within PTI. He directed workers not to be part of any group and to remain united.
The PTI founder also instructed that those attempting to create discord and factionalism within the party should be thwarted.
Party workers and leaders should effectively counter the propaganda against the Chief Minister on social media following the provincial minister’s denotification. If anyone has solid evidence against any official, they should present it to the committee.
