BAHAWALPUR: In a major effort to strengthen international academic and technological collaboration, Memorandum of Understanding between Islamia University of Bahawalpur and a Chinese university has been extended for next five years. According to an official press release issued by the IUB here, Prof Dr Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), recently visited China to participate in the 120th anniversary celebrations of Sichuan Agricultural University (SAU) and explore expanded bilateral research initiatives. During the visit, IUB and SAU officially extended their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for another five years, solidifying their high-impact joint intercropping research led locally by IUB’s National Research Center of Intercropping (NRCI).
