ISLAMABAD(INP): Chief of Pakistan Muslim League-Zia (PML-Z), Ijazul Haq has said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) can’t distance itself of the leadership sitting in London.
Talking to media persons outside the Parliament House here on Friday, Ijazul Haq said that though MQM leaders in Pakistan have announced to separate ways with London but statements of its leaders abroad were against the claims.
He said that it will be in the larger interest of country and masses if MQM separate ways with leaders in Lndon and military wing of the party.
The PML-Z chief lauded the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif for his firm stance and response to Modi’s statements and urged the government to follow his footsteps in this regard.
He said that National Action Plan (NAP) was being implemented but the defeated anti-state elements try to sabotage the efforts of the security forces to stop its implementation in letter and spirit.
Ijazul Haq said that Indian intelligence RAW and Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad were using different tactics to destabilize Pakistan and unity among the political leader and masses was needed of the hour to cope with their nefarious designs against the country.
He said that Modi’s statement regarding Balochistan, Altaf’s speech, Quetta blast, Peshawar and Mardan terrorist attacks are interlinked and the two intelligence agencies were behind the said incidents.
