ISLAMABAD : National Assembly (NA) standing committee on law and justice has approved Supreme Court (SC) practice and procedure bill 2023.
sc practice and procedure 2023 bill was presented for review which has been approved with three amendments.
The amendment on giving the right to appeal against the decisions made in suo motu notices 30 days before has been included in the bill.
it has been said bench comprising less than 5 judges bench will not be constituted to hear the cases pertaining to interpretation of the constitution.
Committee met here under Bashir Mehmood Virk in parliamente house Wednesday.
Law minister said this bill was old standing demand of bar councils and partners. Voices came from inside the SC. Hamid Khan also decalred it need of the hour.
