ISLAMABAD
National Assembly Standing Committee for human rights expressed deep anger on Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) over the issue of Greece boat incident.
Committee is dissatisfied on the steps of FIA and Interior ministry.
Committee members directed to take action against boat capsize in Greece and foreign ministry to do forensic as soon as possible.
Mehreen Razaq Bhutto chaired meeting of Nation Assembly standing committee of human rights on Thursday.
Committee held debate on the issue of Pakistanis boat sank in Greece.
Foreign ministry told that 12 Pakistani remained alive in the incident and they have been recognized through DNA sent from Pakistan.
Information of smugglers being taking from those who remained alive in incident and judicial inquiry is underway, but has not received any information yet. People who remained alive will also be made part of inquiry.
FIA authorities told committee that heirs of 295 persons are in contact 54 out of 84 human traffickers have arrested.
Committee directed FIA to submit complete reports.
National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) authority told committee that UNESCO report says that 20.28 million children are out of school in Pakistan.
Committee directed federal government to contact provincial education ministries and make sure the implementation of steps taken to implementation of free education act.
