National Assembly’s (NA) Speaker Raja Parvez Ashraf on the request of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to hold hour-long debate on Namoos-e-Risalat (PBUH) during Assembly’s session on Monday.
According to details, the speaker has reserved an hour during house’s proceedings to condemn blasphemous remarks passed by India’s ruling party BJP leaders.
In this regard, the Speaker has also requested opposition to take part in NA proceedings Monday. In his statement, the Speaker said the matter was not bound to any political or party’s agenda, but to our faith.
He urged all parties to take part in assembly proceedings on Monday to give a strong message to Hindu-extremist BJP government in India.
