NAB being used for political victimization: Siyal

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was being used for political victimization and point scoring but such tricks could not hurdle to render services for Sindh and people of the province.
These views were expressed by Sindh Irrigation Minister, Sohail Anwar Siyal while talking with media personnel at Residence of MPA Badin, Haji Taj Muhammad Mallah.
He said raid by NAB team at his residence was non political,non ethical, inhuman and illegal act which caused distress and sanctity was disgraced.
The Sindh minister said the residence which was raided was his father’s family property and registered at FBR and they could not find out any thing from there and added that despite of such political victimization they were cooperating with them.
He said news published against him in connection of NAB were baseless and during those days he was engaged in rehabilitation work in Umerkot, Badin and Mirpurkhas districts to assist affectees of downpour. Mr Siyal said negligence and incompetency of any official of irrigation department would not be tolerated and those inefficient officials to face legal action.
The Sindh minister said allegations levelled by MNA Badin and Federal Minister, Dr. Fehmida Mirza that he deliberately used and intended breaches in Left Bank Outfall Drain (LBOD) to secure and safeguard fertile soils of Mir Munawar Talpur were fabricated and baseless allegations.
He said from very first day of such breaches,he was engaged to overwhelm the situation with bold Pak Army personnel and with grace of God they were succeeded for.
Mr Siyal said they have witnessed various crisis during PTI led government.The Sindh minister said downpour affectees would not be left alone and government of Sindh has declared 20 districts of the province as calamity affected and government has directed for survey to compensate, relief and assist the affectees.
On this occasion MPA Badin, Haji Taj Muhammad Mallah, Deputy Commissioner Badin, Dr. Hafeez Ahmed Siyal and others were also accompany with Sindh Irrigation Minister.
