The statement said that the aim of the open court, scheduled to be held on October 9 (Monday) at NAB office Peshawar, is to foster transparency, accountability and general public participation in the fight against corruption and malpractices in the province.
Director General (NAB) KP Mian Muhammad Waqar and other senior officials of the accountability watchdog will be present to listen to the public complaints.
If a government official is found to have intentionally facilitated unlawful benefits from the public treasury, caused harm to the public treasury, or amassed assets disproportionate to their income, actions will be taken. Likewise, instances where government project contracts are not awarded in adherence to prevailing laws, or cases involving public deception and embezzlement, will be subject to scrutiny. Furthermore, any other entity, organization, or society planning to allocate plots to the public and collecting funds illicitly will be subject to complaints processed in the open court against those responsible for such offenses.
The Director General has said that all complaints will be investigated in a transparent manner and against the accused in accordance with the law.
Moreover, if anyone has any complaint against the NAB officers, he can also appear in the open court. It should be noted that Chairman NAB Lt. Gen.
