LNG Reference
ISLAMABAD: NAB has sought more time from Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad for filing supplementary reference in connection with LNG case. Judge Azam Khan of Accountability Court Room No 2 heard the petition Friday. NAB prosecutor told the court three to four weeks are required for filing supplementary reference. The court while directing NAB to complete the investigation against Shahid Khaqan Abbasi gave last opportunity to it to file final reference on August 6. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi appeared before the court. Barrister Zafar Ullah Khan told the court Sahahid Khaqan Abbsi has spent 6 months in jail. When NAB files final reference then we should be called and we will appear. NAB prosecutor told the court Shahid Khaqan Abbasi may please be indicted in supplementary reference and earlier Nawaz Sharif was also indicted in supplementary reference.
