ISLAMABAD: Coordinator to Prime Minister of Commerce and Industries Rana Ihsan Afzal Khan, on Monday said that the nation now wants positive politics that leads the country toward development and stability. Talking to a private news channel, he said that our government has pulled the country out of an economic crisis, and the public has shown trust in our leadership. He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) failed in its attempts to form a grand opposition alliance and has lost public support due to its confrontational politics. PTI’s protest strategy has repeatedly collapsed as the party leadership pushes workers forward but disappears during tough times, he added. “Even PTI workers are distancing themselves, having seen the pattern of betrayal,” he further added. He emphasized that while the government has always favored political dialogue, PTI preferred taking to the streets instead of engaging in Parliament. DNA
