National cricketers are likely to be given central contracts next week.
25 to 35 percent increase in the match fee is expected in new contracts.
Work is underway to finalize the work of the relevant departments of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the central contracts of national cricketers.
Cricket Committee Chairman Misbah-ul-Haq will be briefed on the Central Contract during the next week and then Misbah-ul-Haq will brief Chairman PCB Management Committee Zaka Ashraf regarding the Central Contracts.
Sources say that national players are likely to be offered central contracts next week after the approval of Chairman PCB Management Committee, Zaka Ashraf.
The contracts were extended by one month, the one month extension period ends tomorrow on July 31. CEO PCB Salman Naseer and Director International Usman Wahla in Sri Lanka discussed central contract with captain and senior players.
Sources said that there is a possibility of 25 to 35 percent increase in the match fee of the players in the central contract.
