Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin has said the country’s economy is moving ahead with stability.
“the economy rose from minus to 5.6 level. We want to make national economy of 1960s decade economy. Pakistan economy was the fourth largest economy of the world at that time. We are Pakistan robust economically, he said this while addressing a seminar here Thursday.
He said government took solid steps during corona time to save the national economy. Historic package was given to protect the economy in the wake of Covid-19 he added.
He held our steps to deal with the Covid-19 have also been commended by the world community. our focus is to uplift the low income groups, he added. .
Shaukat Tarin said the confidence of investors also stand restored as a result of financial transparency.
He noted that a significant improvement is also being seen in the agriculture sector.
The poor class is being affected most due to global crisis and inflation, he said our focus is to stand the poor segment of society on its feet, he added.
