PML-N president Mian Nawaz Sharif is stated to have played key role in the reduction of price of petroleum products. As per media report, a detailed consultation was held between Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif. During this consultation steps for providing immediate relief to people came under consideration.
As per sources Mian Nawaz Sharif directed to immediately slash the price of petroleum products so that the inflation pressure could subside. PM Shehbaz Sharif decided to curtail the prices of petroleum products immediately under the guidance of Mian Nawaz Sharif.
Sources said Mian Nawaz Sharif stressed on complete implementation of austerity program. More announcements for curtailment of inflation are likely in coming days.
