ISLAMABAD, Jan 23 (Online): PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif has directed his party PML-N to pursue aggressive posture on the matter of broadsheet and made it clear that government should not be allowed to hide behind broadsheet.
Nawaz Sharif has asked his party to demand persistently that government should form a parliamentary committee on this matter or a joint investigation committee be constituted on Panama pattern so that everything is made crystal clear.
Sources said Nawaz Sharif has made telephonic contact with his party leaders and exchanged views on broadsheet issue and overall political situation of the country.
Nawaz Sharif has contacted Maryam Nawaz, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ahsan Iqbal and Rana Sana Ullah and exchanged views at length on the situation arising out of Broadsheet.
Directing the party leaders to give tough time to government on the issue of broadsheet he said they should inform media and people about nexus between NAB and broadsheet besides demanding government to probe into broadsheet scandal through parliamentary committee rather than an inquiry committee.
Nawaz Sharif has tasked party leaders to expose government in both the houses of parliament on broadsheet scam.
